A solution for decarbonisation
Our RiPR technology can produce both biomethane and hydrogen from a wide range of biogenic materials, while simultaneously capturing carbon dioxide and creating biochar.
The result is a system that actively removes emissions while supplying fuels industry can use today. Biomethane enables immediate decarbonisation of heat, power and gas networks, while hydrogen production can scale as markets, policy and infrastructure mature.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
Introducing RiPR
Using supercritical water reforming, our RiPR process efficiently converts wet biogenic material and waste into high-yield biomethane and hydrogen, as well as biochar, all while capturing carbon dioxide.
The process is completely tuneable, allowing to favour either more hydrogen or biomethane production depending on application needs.
THE FUTURE
A radical disruptor
With four successful prototypes already having been built, our RiPR technology is more than a concept and has proven efficiency and scalability. This scalability and the flexibility to process a wide range of feedstocks are critical because they allow us to produce hydrogen and biomethane at a much lower cost than the alternatives.
One tonne of feedstock put into our RiPR technology will generate more than twice the amount of energy compared to other biogenic technologies.

Our solution is very different and its advantages go far beyond cost and scalability. With the flexibility to accept most wet biogenic materials with minimal preparation and no requirement for strategic or hazardous materials, excess green electricity or large amounts of water, our RiPR technology eliminates many of the challenges facing other methods.
